This handsome guy is Hoss, a 1 year old Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix. If you are looking for a large gentle breed this is your guy. Hoss has such a loving, cuddly nature and he's very laid back but thinks he can still fit in your lap. He will push your hand to pet him and then buries his head in your lap to be loved. He walks great on a leash, doesn't jump the fence, rarely barks, sits on command, and is house and crate trained.
Hoss is great with kids but since he is a large breed he would probably do better with older kids. He curious with cats, he wants to play but not aggressive at all. He loves being outside and will probably would be best with a fenced yard where he can run freely.
If you are interested in meeting Hoss, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
Hoss’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
