Hi, my name is Radar.  I am a 4 year old Rat Terrier.  My foster family has helped me recover from a broken leg.  I am in the last days of recovery and will be available for adoption after April 22.

I am looking for a forever family to love me.  I love to sit on your lap and just chill out.  I don't really like giving kisses, but I love for you to kiss and hug me.  I prefer female dogs and if you have children, they should be 10 yrs or older.  I do not like cats.  I will bark if I hear a noise outside or a knock at the door.  I think I'm pretty smart so if you tell me what you want, I will try to please you.  When my foster mom leaves for awhile, I do stay in my crate.  I also sleep in my crate at night, but would love to sleep with you.   I like playing tug with my rope toy.  I go outside to do my business and if you throw me a stick, I will fetch it for you.  Not really a fan of bringing it back to you, so you might have to throw a different stick.  If I decide to run in the yard to play, I do run very fast.  I would love to meet your family and see if we could love each other.

If you are interested in meeting Radar, complete the   Adoption Application on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you.  Adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.

Radar’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
