This cute little guy is Elmer, a chihuahua mix that was born in our rescue on May 3, 2015.  His mom is Lady Sasha who was rescued before having 2 little boys, Elmer and Grover.  Elmer is a very fluffy boy who enjoys playing and is more outgoing than his brother Grover.  He loves to gives kisses and cuddle when he is done playing.  He is used to being held since his foster mom made a point of holding him each day since birth.  Elmer loves belly rubs and will repay you with puppy breath kisses.    Elmer is great with other dogs and kids.  He is still working on house training but is great in a crate.

Elmer’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
