This darling little baby is Flicka, an 8 week old Blue Heeler/Basset mix.  Flicka is not going to get real big since she currently only weighs 4.1 pounds and has the short stubby legs of the Basset Hound.  She loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home and tries to keep up with the big dogs but sometimes they play a little rough so she waits until they are sleeping to try and play with them. Flicka really likes children and loves to chase them while they are playing in the yard.  Flicka is working on house and crate training and doing great.

Flicka's adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. In most cases, our adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.
