* Adoption Pending! This cute little guy is Sammy Hagar! He was named after the classic rock star Sammy Hagar because his hair looks just like his! He's a 5 yr old, long-haired Dachshund who weighs 14lbs and is house trained & crate trained. Sammy gets along great with other dogs, hasn't met any cats yet and would be happier around older children. Sammy's a very sweet, lovable guy who's bonding nicely with his Foster Mom. He loves sleeping with her at night and is a very happy boy when she rubs his belly! He makes her laugh when she stops petting him and he burrows his little nose under her arm to urge her to keep petting him! Sammy is playful and enjoys playing with his Foster Mom's two dogs, who are big & older than he is. He's a quick learner who listens well and knows how to sit up & beg - it's the cutest thing! He likes going for car rides, loves walks and is a good boy on a leash. He attended an adoption event recently and behaved very well! He was hugged & kissed and spent the afternoon enjoying a lot of attention. Sammy can't wait to spend the rest of his life being loved!
