MEET COOKIE MONSTER
This sweet GIRL is a labrador retriever mix and about 50 lbs. She is 7 months old, neutered, microchipped and fully vetted.
She and her family did not have a good start in life. They were dumped in a field and the farmer was threatening to shoot them all. Thankfully a kind person contacted Act Now Rescue and we were able to bring them all to safety.
COOKIE was very skinny. Full of fleas, ticks and worms. She was semi-feral and very skittish around me.
FAST forward to now. With a lot of medicines, good food and love she has blossomed into the sweetest furbaby.
COOKIE does great with all my dogs. She loves to run in the backyard with her brother and mother (Chunky Monkey and Junebug -- also up for adoption). She has a lot of energy but a few runs around the yard and she's ready for a nap and snuggle time with her foster momma.

Cookie Monster's adoption includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
