Abbott – Special Needs Pup
Abbott is an adorable English Bull Terrier puppy who was lucky enough to be born in rescue, giving him the best possible start in life. At just 9 weeks old, Abbott is already working hard on learning hand signals and learning how to play tug, run, play, and snuggle.
Abbott mom weighs about 40 pounds, and dad is a solid 50, so this little guy is likely to grow into a sturdy, medium-sized companion. Potential adopters should have breed experience or deep knowledge about English Bull Terriers. While they’re often compared to Pit Bull Terriers, English Bull Terriers are unique with their own set of quirky traits that make them both lovable and challenging.
Special Considerations for Abbott
As a deaf puppy , Abbott will need an adopter who understands how to communicate with him using hand signals, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement. Deaf dogs are just as capable of learning and loving as hearing dogs, and with the right approach, Abbott will be a fantastic companion. Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
