Captain is some kind of plott hound mix, He has a beautiful brindle coat and weighs around 60 lbs. His birthday is 11-19-19 so he is almost 5 years old.

He is good with dogs but would do better with older kids.  He was returned to Needy Paws after the owners had him for almost 4 years because he started nipping at the 3 younger kids. He has been very good at his foster mom's house and is hanging out with 5 other dogs.

He is crate trained, house broke, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, come and lie down. He also knows how to ring the bell to go outside. He would love a fenced in yard because he does like to be outside when the weather is nice.

Captain’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
