Meet Bocelli the Little Lover Boy! and his little Toy Bunny!
a 12 yr old, 10 lb, Miniature Poodle.
He's totally BLIND but can hear really well as his other senses are excellent! So if you just talk to him and use his name, he finds his way to you.
He has a little heart murmur and has no teeth. That doesn't stop him from eating his kibble softened by warm water. He doesn't like eating out of bowl and wants you to hand food to him. We're working on him eating out of bowl if you hold the bowl.
He has always walked on a leash so he knows to go outside but sometimes he will piddle in the house.
He doesn't know to use potty pad inside house because he can't see but he only seems to piddle little amounts.
Can't do steps so if you have steps, you have to carry him up and down.
Bocelli is such a Lover Boy! He WANTS / NEEDS his human and will sit with you all day if you let him.
He loves to sleep in bed with you and just be part of your life!

He still needs a good grooming and he will get that soon.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Bocelli’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
