Forest is a charming and lovable 5 year old terrier mix. Forest is a big bundle of love. He is a well-mannered, fun-loving, and affectionate dog who thrives on human companionship. When he’s inside, he’s very mellow and low-key, but he’s an energetic fellow outside. He loves chasing balls and basking in the sun in the backyard or on the deck with a big bowl of water nearby. He is great on the leash and loves long walks and enjoys seeing other people and dogs, with whom he is generally indifferent and non-reactive; however, he can be selective with the dogs that he likes and would be best as an only dog in the home.
**Forest has recently graduated from the 12-week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Missouri Dept of Corrections. During his training, he mastered all the basic commands and is a well-behaved canine citizen ready to become a member of your family.**

Forest’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
