Rubia is the total package with beauty and brains! She is a young, athletic girl with a gorgeous coat and legs like a gazelle. Rubia loves attention and is an excellent listener. She still has some puppy energy and would love to have a fenced in backyard, a human who wants to throw her balls, and another dog to play with either in her new home or at dog parks.

Rubia walks nicely on a leash but still has some uncertainty and may bark at things along the way. She’s becoming more confident with each walk, and she doesn’t do this when walking with another well-adjusted dog. She will due best in a home with another dog.

Rubia is cautious with new people but warms up very quickly. She would do well with older kids. Rubia is house-trained and crate trained.

Rubia has graduated top of her class from the 12 week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Missouri Department of Corrections this July.

Rubia’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
