Jimmy Buffett is an 11 yr old, very small 3.6 lb, LONG HAIRED CHIHUAHUA.
He was surrendered with another little dog, REGGIE JACKSON, when his owner died, and they are a BONDED PAIR.
Jimmy is Blind in his right eye , but his other eye seems to be good enough that he sees and gets around quite well. AND it turns out, he's the alpha of the two of them!!! Reggie follows HIS lead!
He's missing a lot of fur off his back but has a Beautiful Mane like a Tiny Lion! and the veterinarian said this happens to some of these older dogs. He may never get fur back in that area . His skin is in good shape, and his foster dad washes him with medicated shampoo to keep skin healthy.
He is Super Sweet but a little shy and loves his buddy Reggie Jackson!
He is not fond of any dog larger than he is! So he will bark at them and even chase them out of the room! He has no teeth so no chance of biting!
He's been peeing outside half the time and pottys on potty pad inside, however, the more you let him outside will help him understand. Foster parents still working on it.
He doesn't like going up & down steps. He would PREFER FEW STEPS.
He and Reggie Jackson need to be in a quieter home, so NO CHILDREN, and a calmer environment.

Jimmy Buffett & Reggie Jackson's adoption fee is $300.00 for both, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
