Quack is a cattle dog with a beautiful salt-and-pepper coat. She came into the rescue after her previous owner passed away and she was found locked in a large kennel with another dog and a duck, hence her name. She’s a very confident dog who adjusts to new places and new people easily.
She is a very energetic girl who loves to play with her humans. Her favorite is fetch but she also likes tug-of-war. She can play for hours each day if you let her. Quack is a very smart girl who already knows sit, shake and come. She is also housebroken, crate-trained, and walks pretty well on a leash.
Her ideal family will be active and have a yard. Quack could live as an only dog and would also work with other similar-size dogs. She does have a tendency to try and herd other animals, so small pets and small children who live in the home are probably not the best idea. She would be okay with older children especially those who have had a dog before.
