Santana is a 2 year old golden retriever. We don’t know much about her background other than she was living outside with other dogs. She is still learning how to be a dog, and in the best case scenario needs another confident companion dog in the home along with a secure fenced in yard. She does take a little while to warm up to people, but once she does, she wants to be in the same room as you. Santana, while not crate trained, does fine when left alone in the house. She is also still working on basic commands and leash training.

We think it is best for Santana to spend a bit more time in her foster home before she is ready to be adopted. She is a genuinely kind and docile dog that loves to be close to her owner, will sit quietly for hours without issue, and gets along with well trained pets.

Santana ’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
