My mom is a rat terrier weighing less than 25 pounds.  My dad is smaller than mom, but we don’t know the breed. It looks like I’m going to take after my dad and be on the smaller side.  If I keep growing like I have been, it looks like I’m on track to weigh about 20 pounds.  

 

I’m a gentle little girl who really enjoys laying in my foster Ma’s lap and chewing on a toy while foster Ma dangles it.  I do love to play, but prefer to avoid the rough rumble and tumble of my siblings.  

 

When I was teeny tiny, I hung out in the hood of Foster Ma’s hoodie so I could keep warm.  It made me so happy.  

 

When I’m not trying to cover you with my puppy kisses, I do still need physical and mental enrichment.  I may be tiny, but I won’t be happy being idle all day.  I like food puzzles and toys just like the big pups. 

 

I’ll be happiest in a home with a family who is home most of the time and understands that it’s in my nature to play and explore.  I like to use my mind and I wasn’t born to stay idle for long periods of time.  The terrier in me will want to investigate the world. 

 

I’m really good at using the potty pads at my foster family’s house, but I’ll need help learning how to transition to pottying outside.  

 

Like all puppies I’m looking for a family who is dedicated to teaching me how to be a good girl by using positive reinforcement and patience.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
