Meet BoMack, a 5 year old German Shepard mix. He’s a great listener and very well-mannered. You can throw a treat on the floor and tell him to “wait” and he’ll wait until you give him the “okay” to eat it. When you leave the house you can put him in a kennel or leave him out and he's good either way. In fact, he’ll learn your routine and when you get ready to go, he’ll run in his kennel and sit without you even telling him to get in. And if you choose to leave him out of the kennel he doesn’t chew on anything that isn’t his. He knows all the basics and does them well (sit, stay, shake, etc).

He’s completely house trained and doesn’t jump on people.
BoMack loves walks, belly rubs, cuddling, and car rides. He nudges your hand when he wants to be petted and can be pretty persistent about it.
He would be an ideal dog for a quiet house with 1 or 2 people. If you’re an introvert and want a companion that will totally love and be devoted to you, BoMack is your guy! He’s not a good fit for a family with children. Small children make him nervous. He needs a slower introduction to other dogs, but usually wants to play once he gets to know them a little. He’d be best with a submissive female dog.
*** BoMack graduated from the 12 week Puppies 4 Parole training program through the Missouri Department of Corrections and was a prison favorite. BoMack was a rockstar student and is ready to bring his newly acquired training skills to his new home. This is an excellent and enriching training program for each of the dogs. ***

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
BoMack’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
