==>>**IMPORTANT** HARDISON IS VERY FEARFUL OF VISITORS AND STRANGERS IN STORE. He would Growl & Bite at them. He is starting to show improvement with his continual training.

His Foster Mom works with him daily to get him over this fear.

Training entails carrying dog treats with you on outings and when you meet a stranger, dropping treats at their feet. Hardison is then relating "FOOD WITH PEOPLE HE MEETS"

==>> HE WILL NEED CONTINUAL TRAINING WITH THIS UNTIL HE GETS OVER HIS FEAR. AND NO CHILDREN IN HOME.

My name is Hardison, but my foster family calls me "HARRY"!

I'm 1 yr old, 10 lb, Shih Tzu Poodle Mix. I'm Very Handsome with my underbite "Teefs" !!! LOL !

IF I KNOW YOU, I will be quite the cuddler and kisser and they call me a "Velcro" dog! I need to be with my human a LOT! I'll follow you and even growl at you if you're not paying attention to me. I NEED TO BE LOVED A LOT!!

I NEED another dog my size to play because of my "HIGH PUPPY ENERGY", and I like being the ALPHA DOG!

Love to play with toys and chew on nylabones. I still do "Puppy Play Biting" that I'm constantly getting corrected about by my foster mom!

I need a fenced yard since I'm a "door darter". **NO E-FENCES**

I enjoy riding in the car and walk well on leash.

I'm potty trained but still have accidents on occasion in the house if I don't make it outside in time.

My Perfect family will LOVE me as a family member with all my baggage and protect and guide me through my stranger danger fear so sometime in the future, I can enjoy meeting people without growling or biting.

My foster mom takes me to Home Depot & PetSmart to practice meeting people. I still have a ways to go to build my trust with strangers, but she uses treats and air spray can .

I tend to bark a lot at noises, people and other dogs I do not know but my foster mom found out that she can control me with Air Spray Can.

My Foster Mom said she will send an AIR CAN with me to MY NEW HOME! I'm not sure I like that idea!

Hardison’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
