Icee is a sweet senior girl available through the American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis. She weighs 28 lbs and she is 13 years old, but don't let her age fool you...she is still very curious and alert! Icee gets so excited when you take out her harness because she knows she's going on a walk or a car ride. She also loves head scratches, rolling in the grass, and snuggling on the couch. Icee is gentle and laid-back and gets along with everyone she has met so far. She would enjoy living with another dog, and she would most likely do well with cats and kids as well.

 

Icee came to the rescue after her owner passed away. She is potty trained, does great in the car, and is non-destructive when left alone in the house. She prefers sleeping in the same room as her foster family at night.

 

Icee is allergic to chicken and beef, so she eats special venison and potato kibble. She is in good health for her age and takes a joint supplement. She has a little trouble walking on wood floors, but she does great with some rugs to walk on. NOTE: Her adopter will need to be able to lift her into the car and onto furniture because she cannot jump on her own.
