Finn is a young Plott Hound who is as handsome as he is smart. At 18 months old, he is learning more and more every day through consistent training that is steeped in positive reinforcement. He is very dog friendly.  Finn needs a home with a large fenced in yard along with another dog to play with. Finn is a house dog who loves a comfortable, safe place to sleep, gentle belly rubs, and ear scratches. He’s big and full of life, so a home WITHOUT young children is best.   A Plott Hound through and through, Finn is stoic and independent. His forever family will be familiar with his breed (or another similar, strong-willed breed) and will continue to work with him. He’s a good boy. He is loyal and expressive. He is curious about everything. He is perfectly potty trained and he sleeps through the night. He hates the rain and loves to
be able to see outside when he’s inside. He guards his home and his people, and he’ll keep you safe. If you are looking for Finn, we are sure he is looking for you.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Finn’s adoption fee is $100.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
