Elka is a two year Black and Tan Coonhound.  This young lady came to NPR with her litter of pups!  She has finished caring for her babies and is now looking for a family of her own.  Elka is house trained and friendly with other dogs.  She is a calm, relaxed, go with the flow kinda girl!  Elka is a gentle girl that is learning all the amenities of living the spoiled life!   She still needs to gain a good 10 pounds.  Her coat is beginning to shine and become healthy again after pregnancy.

Elka’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
