Meet India "INDI", a Beautiful Female, 1-1/2 yr old, 7 lb Chihuahua Mix. 
=>She was from hoarder/breeder with no love or human touch. She is EXTREMELY SHY and it has taken 4 months to get her to trust her foster parents although she still runs when you want to pick her up.  If you do catch her to pick her up, she will fear pee.  PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF you can give her time, patience and love while taking care of her needs including letting her USE POTTY PADS INSIDE THE HOME and in return she will continue to grow each day learning to be a normal dog and trusting you as a family.
 
Indi has REQUIREMENTS:  
  • She does bark so NO APARTMENTS / NO CONDOS
  • A QUIET home, NO Children UNDER 16.
  • A MUST is she NEEDS ANOTHER CONFIDENT DOG in the home; she CANNOT BE THE ONLY DOG.
  • She HATES & IS TERRIFIED OF OUTSIDE.  So she is POTTY PAD TRAINED INSIDE ONLY.
  • She has to continue "Purina ProPlan Sensitive Stomach & Skin" small breed dog food
  • A Fenced Yard would be nice in case she would escape out door.
India is so sweet but really DOES NOT understand how to love and be a family dog.  Your dog will help with that. Foster parent has small steps up to the sofa and Indi uses those steps to lay on sofa next to foster mom.  She does not like sitting in your lap, but once she feels safe with you, she lays really close to you and sometimes will lay her head on your leg. THIS WILL BE THE BEST TIME TO LOVE ON HER AND GAIN HER TRUST.
 
Her forever family must be VERY PATIENT and help her gain trust with the people around her.
All you have to do is use Potty Pads and change those each day when needed.  She never has to go out. She just hangs with her people inside the house.  She is quite food motivated and it does help in her training.
We do not know if in time, she will want to go outside, but her new family can provide the patience and understanding to see how far she will grow with them.
 
IF YOU CANNOT PROVIDE FOR HER AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE DENIED.

India’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
