Meet  Felix ! He's a chihuahua mix, about 5 years old, and weighs 8 lbs. He has the cutest pointy ears and a subtle "polka dot" pattern to his skin and fur. 

 
Felix is equal parts sugar and spice. Snuggling is his favorite thing in the world, and he can often be found cuddled up under a blanket. He would be the perfect buddy for someone who spends a lot of time at home or someone who could bring Felix to work! His preferred sleeping spot is in bed with his humans, where he will burrow all the way under the covers.
 
Now here's the spicy part of his personality: Felix can TALK! He loves to talk to his humans and has a broad vocabulary of ribbits, arfs, and "aaaiiiirrooo"s. He can carry on a full conversation with you! For this reason, he might not be the best fit for apartment life.
 
Felix is potty trained and does great in the car. He is good with other dogs and kids as long as they are respectful of his small size. He is doing well with his crate-training, but he would do best in a home where he is not left alone for more than a few hours at a time. He will bark if left alone for extended periods. He pulls a little on his leash, but he will be a great walker with some more training.

Felix’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
