My name is Elsa and I am a princess alright, I am a 2 year old yellow lab. Before I came to live with my foster mom, I lived outside on a chain and no one taught me any manners or how to act inside. I have a high energy level and anxiety that I am currently taking medication for so that I can focus.
I am doing my best to go potty outside, but I have not mastered the art of going to the door or letting someone know I have to go, so I might have an accident inside.
I am doing better walking on a leash and I will require a lot of exercise to burn up all that energy. I will need a fenced in yard. I do very well in my crate, but I do chew and tear up blankets or beds, maybe once my medicine really kicks in I won't do that anymore. My foster mom has also been working with me on how to play with other dogs my size. I know they don't like it when I jump on them, so I am sure I will not do well with little dogs or cats.
I am way to rambunctious for small children, sometimes I forget that I am 90lbs.
I am Heartworm positive but have received my injections, so now for the next 30 days I can only take short walks and then I have to rest and stay relaxed as much as possible. No outside playtime.
I will require a lot of patience and would benefit from a daily routine and consistency. I get bored very easily and would not do well in an apartment because sometimes I like to bark and I might upset the neighbors.
