Honey Bear
Rottie mix
3 yrs old and about 50-55 lbs
Short hair, long legs, and a slender body
Honey Bear does great with dogs her size or bigger, she is not safe with small dogs. She does fine with the cats at the groomers, but may chase if they run. Honey would probably do best with older kids, due to the fact that she may accidentally knock smaller kids down. She doesn’t seem to realize her size.
Medium energy, does fine with a 4 ft fence.
House trained, though you need to watch for her cues.
Honey Bear is Crate trained, but does better in hard plastic crates. Will try to escape a wire crate. Does need to be crated, at night, and when left alone.
Due to some separation anxiety, she would not work in a apartment or condo.
She rides great in the car
She is very sweet & loving. Wants to be with her people.
Honey Bear is currently going through Heart worm treatment. She received her first i njection on July 17th, and will go back to the vet on Aug 14th, to get the next 2 injections. After these 2 injections, Honey will need to be kept calm & quiet for several weeks afterward. At the vet visit for these injections, it will be determined when she needs to return, for a follow up heart worm test.
