Are you are looking for a dog to cuddle up and binge watch Netflix with you for 8+ hours? Sandy is your girl! Are you looking for a pup who loves to play tug-o-war in the back yard? Sandy is your girl!  Meet Sandy! She is a three year old pittie mix who is potty and kennel trained. She absolutely loves to be around other dogs! The youngest kid she has been around is 8 years old and she did absolutely wonderful. I believe she wouldn't have any issues with children who are younger than 8 just because she is such a gentle soul. When Needy Paws first got Sandy she had severe Mange. The mange has been treated and she is still growing back all of her beautiful hair. That is why she is still pretty bald in her pictures but within a couple months she'll be covered in hair. Look past that sandy skin and you'll see an amazing girl just looking for her furever home!

If you are interested in meeting Sandy, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Sandy’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
