Meet Hostess. She is a 4 year old Pit Bull weighing 55 lbs. She is great with kids and dogs of all sizes. She is housebroken and crate trained. When she came into rescue she had eleven 4 day old puppies, all of her puppies have been adopted and now it is her turn. According to her previous owner she was smuggled over from Iraq as a puppy in a duffle bag with the intention of breeding, which is exactly what happened. She has had several litters of puppies causing her to need luxating patella surgeries. She has had her first surgery and once that leg is healed she will receive her second. She does great with being confined for healing. She would need to go to a home willing to take her to Murphy Animal Hospital in High Ridge for her next surgery and needed water therapy for recovery. The rescue pays for all of this medical care. For all that Hostess has been through she still remains the most loving dog. Sitting on the couch with her head in your lap and receiving back rubs is what makes her the happiest. Please consider adopting Hostess. Your life will be full of love.

Hostess’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
